The sole purpose of Call-Ups is to serve as a hub of the NBA G League. Providing the latest news, as well as the up-to-date structure, rules, and finances.

In addition, exclusive interviews are conducted with players, industry guests, and those that work within league franchises. Providing valuable insight into the operations of an exciting, ever-growing basketball league.

Call-Ups also operates as an outlet that provides exposure to up-and-coming prospects. These can be young athletes that are destined for the NBA, G League, or overseas.

Call-Ups was founded in April 2020, by Matt Evans.

Matt is from the United Kingdom and is currently residing in Paris, France. Holding both a bachelors and masters degree in Sport Management, Matt did part of his studies in New York, USA at St John’s University.

This included an in-depth study focusing on the globalisation of the NBA and the potential expansion of the league in the United Kingdom.

He is an accredited media member and has been covering international basketball and the NBA since 2017. Including at NBA Paris 2020, where he attended press-conferences with Giannis Antetokounmpo, Adam Silver, and Michael Jordan.

Additionally, Matt has been accredited at G League franchise, the South Bay Lakers, and has conducted interviews with various staff members and players Talen Horton-Tucker and Devontae Cacok.
